The best hiking paths in Veneto
Bivo is the new frontier of outdoor food. For this reason we wanted to suggest to our readers some paths that in our opinion are the ideal moments where to taste Bivo.
Obviously, in Italy and around Europe there are thousands of paths and it is impossible to choose a selection of them. We therefore decided to consider in this first article just some paths in our Region of origin (Veneto), listing some of the routes that we love.
Nordic walking around Fimon lake
The first path that we want to speak about is located a few km from our headquarters, in the province of Vicenza, in one of the suggestive places of the area: the Fimon lake. Particularly interesting is the possibilità to walk some paths, organized by a local association, advisable for Nordic Walking. The 5 paths, with different length and difficulty, are really beautiful, immersed in nature and allow you to enjoy the lake from different perspectives.

Paths on the Euganean Hills
Let’s move from Berici Hills to Euganean Hills and here we have plenty of possibilities. The paths are generally dedicated to mountain bike lovers. We suggest you to go to the portal http://www.collieuganei.it/sentieri/ which accurately describes the various possibilities.
The 52 galleries of the Mount Pasubio
A great classic for mountain lovers is for sure the road which goes through the 52 galleries. This mountain road was entirely realized by the 33-rd Compagnia del Quinto reggimento of the Italian army during the First World War. It has an incredible value not only for its beautiful landscape, but for its history too. It is a dirt gravel road which will bring you to the feet of Pasubio.

The path of the lookout posts
We just need to move by some kms and we change landscape. In the province of Treviso, the path of the lookout posts crosses the Prosecco’s hills. The name derives from the Austrian Hungarian army which from the top of these hills was controlling all the line of the river Piave. Along this path too we can find many historical evidences, trenches, galleries from the First World War.

Trekking with the view on the Garda lake
The Garda lake is one of the most beautiful landscape of Northern Italy. We want to speak about one path that, at the border with Trentino, allows you to enjoy the beauty of the biggest Italian lake. The paths is the excursion to the Altissimo mountain hut, but there are many more equally interesting. To reach the hut you can start from Nago or San Valentino, walking down the same path while going back, or making a circle like a ring which will take around 5 hours.

Last but not least the mountains of our Region: Dolomites. Here there are so many paths to do that it is hard to suggest a single one.
