Bivo at Trail del Cinghiale

Last weekend we the Bivo Team was in Palazzuolo sul Senio in the province of Florence for the Trail del Cinghiale, an unmissable event for trail running and trekking enthusiasts. The more than 700 participants have been divided into the 4 routes that have traced the organizers of the Leopold association: 15km, 30km, 60km and 90km.

We were present with our stand both to the delivery of the race packs and to the departure and arrival of the 4 distances to let Bivo taste all the participants.

We then awarded the winners and the winners of the 4 races with a Bivo kit. We were also pleased to reward the participants in the over 50 category who have completed a journey made even more difficult by the mud and the climate.

For the record, the captain of the Bivo Trail Running Team, Omar Cai Salatissimo has stood out in the course of 60km length and despite the cold, the water and the mud has managed to complete the race. Bravo Omar!

In events so beautiful, placings and positions in the standings are quite irrelevant: the important thing is to spend a few hours in the company of their friends and in the middle of nature, even if under a few drops of rain. After all, this is the spirit of trail running.
