Grande Trekking, a feast for outdoor enthusiasts

Last week end in Carrara there was the GT5, the fifth edition of the Grande Trekking. It has been the first event that Bivo had ever sponsored, and we have been thrilled about the result. More than 2.000 participants, divided between who did a real race (trail) and who instead has walk the almost 33 km that have brought the people from the beach of Marina di Carrara to the peak of the Sagro Mount.

It has been a real feast for sport and nature enthusiasts, to which people from everywhere around Italy (and not only Italy, considering that the winner has been the Swedish Carl J. Sorman). Wonderful path, great organization.

For us of Bivo it has been an occasion to help such an important event, but also a way to be known by new people. Hundreds of people have tasted our product, curious about the innovation that Bivo brought to the world of nutrition in general, and of outdoor activities in particular. Many have been the encouragements and appreciations we received. We thank all the people who we met at GT5 and that are ordering Bivo, after having tried it during the event. We hope that it can be the first of a long series of such events that we will have the opportunity to sponsor.

Soon we will load in our Facebook page the pictures of the event, where there is the Bivo team, but also the beautiful context of the race and the participation of all those people.

A particular greeting and plaudit goes to Andrea Maccari, the organizer of GT5, and to his team. Tireless, they have work for months to ensure the success of the event, in addition to be always present and available for all the week end. Thank you so much!
